GOODYEAR, Arizona — It’s the middle of February, but spring officially begins Tuesday. Spring training, that is.
Reds position players join pitchers and catchers Tuesday morning for the team’s first full squad workout in their new facility in Goodyear.
The team’s first preseason game is 10 days away and fans are excited with the additions of Orlando Cabrera, Aroldis Chapman and the re-signing of Jonny Gomes.
Opening Day is April 5.
