CINCINNATI—The Cincinnati Bengals have signed second-round rookie defensive end Carlos Dunlap.
Dunlap was named first-team All-Southeastern Conference last season after recording 38 tackles, 13 1/2 for losses and nine sacks. The 6-foot-6, 278-pounder is still regarded as an excellent pass-rushing prospect.
Dunlap was charged with DUI prior to the Gators’ bowl game, causing his draft stock to slip.
Bengals first-rounder, Jermaine Gresham, is the only unsigned player but he didn’t look to be close enough to a deal get here by Thursday’s morning practice.
