The Cincinnati Reds have signed Louisville native, Chris Burke, to a Minor League deal on Thursday. Burke, a
former first-round pick of the Houston Astros in 2001 played in 32 games with the Padres last year while batting .207.
In six seasons in the majors, Burke has a .239 overall batting average. Chris can fill in at second base, shortstop, third, first and the outfield.
